| Assignment Description: | The Assistant Chaplain is responsible for fostering the spiritual well-being and spiritual development of the Christian International School of Prague. The Assistant Chaplain is to actively promote a school-wide discipleship culture by ministering to the student body, the faculty/staff, and the overall community at CISP. Main Responsibilities Under the direction of the Chaplain, identify and help promote the spiritual formation of the entire student body. Assist spiritual life activities (i.e., Days of Prayer, Spiritual Renewal Day, Spiritual Retreats/Activity Days, etc.) and provide spiritual counseling. Assist and facilitate student mentoring and discipleship strategies and initiatives: Small group management, mentorship, and discipleship Strong resource for the faculty/staff in developing devotionals and themes. Participate in Student Leadership programs and opportunities. Offer a distinctive “Ministry of Presence” in the pastoral care of the whole school community. Being available to support students, faculty, staff, and parents as needed. Engage and develop connections with local churches and community leaders. |
