| Preferred Experience: | Program/project management Education, preferably with low-income students in challenging educational and social situations (while this is not a teaching position per se, this position will coordinate a sponsorship program that involves oversight of teachers and an educational program outside of traditional school programs - we are not a formal school, but rather supplementing what kids get in subpar public schools in an underserved area - and may occasionally include teaching) Strong communication skills Ability to challenge and motivate others to persevere and succeed Spanish proficiency (or willingness to learn it) Social work experience is a plus |
