| Assignment Description: | JCS is a private, bilingual school based in the beautiful Caribbean mountains of the Dominican Republic. Our elementary homeroom teachers are the primary teachers responsible for their class and we have positions available from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Homeroom teachers must teach English, maths, science, social studies and bible. Additionally, they are responsible for the social-emotional learning of their class and for instilling the school's Christian values in our students. Teachers will teach 4-5 lessons with 2-3 prep periods a day. This equates to between 16 and 25 teaching hours per week. |
