| Assignment Description: | Opportunity to join a dynamic team! This year, we launched an interdisciplinary project based learning for our Middle School (MS). We need a Grade 8 MS Science and Humanities Teacher to join our team. You will be working with two other 'CORE' teachers who teach MYP English/Math and MYP Design and will also collaborate with MS MYP Visual Arts and MYP Media Arts Teachers. Summary of Assignment Teach Gr 8 Science/Humanities (80%) Homeroom (each day) Electives (areas of interest - not necessarily academic) (20%) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1766Bc-CX_3pAgjRFqsjwMGDO5Myzpq3R/view?usp=share_link The majority of the role is teaching Grade 8 Science and Humanities. 'Core time' which includes Math/Science/English/Humanities/Design with some input from Visual and Media Arts is scheduled throughout the morning in a collaborative team format. MS Core Teachers are also asked to meet with homerooms each day and teach one elective each afternoon (approximately 1 hour).
