Preferred Experience: | As a supported* distribution facilitator your contributions will network with translators, churches, organizations and potential partners to promote the use of Scripture resources in languages spoken in Oaxaca. You’ll make an impact when you… *Encourage stakeholders and local organizations to distribute literature. *Collaborate with individuals and community groups including authorities, churches, schools and more to advocate for Scripture use and engagement strategies. *Facilitate and promote the distribution and use of Scripture, vernacular media resources, printed pieces, audio and other resources. *Analyze situations to recommend distribution possibilities. *Develop and implement engagement strategies. *Listen to others and offer assistance. *Travel from central location to other locations. *Work with a partnership coordinator to identify opportunities. *Raise awareness of available resources and train others to use materials. *Identify funding opportunities. *Write reports, ideate, research and evaluate activities. This job might be for you if… *You’ve taken a course like Perspectives. *You’re ready to learn another language and adapt to a different culture. *You’re knowledgeable about phonetics and cultural anthropology. *You’re familiar with language society community development issues or language project planning management. *You demonstrate the desire and ability to support corporate biblical and religious goals and participate in regular work-related spiritual activities without reservation (Spiritual Bona Fide Occupational Qualification). *You are legally authorized to work in the U.S. |
