Assignment Description: | It is the role of the teacher librarian to manage the day-to-day operations of the library. The The teacher librarian is also responsible for teaching library classes to students from preschool to grade 5. The teacher librarian is responsible for all aspects of the planning, preparation and delivery and evaluating of resource-based programmes for every student in the allocated classes. Maintain materials in the library (printed or digital) that support the IB Diploma (e.g., guides to citation and bibliography construction). Additionally, work with the IB Coordinator to ensure that all necessary IB regulations, policies, and subject guides are easily located in printed format in the library. |

Housing: | Starting Salary: All newly hired staff who sign a 2-year contract will receive, with their first salary payroll, a starting salary equivalent to one month’s gross base salary (capped at $1000 for an individual employee and $1,500 for a couple who are both employed at HOPE). |
Educating Children: | Tuition and School Fees: Employee families will receive tuition for up to two kids. The children must meet admission requirements and be either biological or legally adopted dependent(s) who are named in the contract. The employee is required to pay an annual fee for their children, depending on their grade level. Employees are responsible for all other fees including, but not limited to library, textbooks, camp, club, applications, exams (IGCSE/IB fees are around $1000), any extracurricular or after-school sports activities and individual instrumental tuition (or similar school activities). |
