| Assignment Description: | An experienced Maths teacher is required to teach Middle and High School students. Candidates should demonstrate a working knowledge of the pedagogy for teaching mathematical concepts and be up to date with modern teaching methods. Our school follows the UK curriculum. Experience teaching IGCSE and A-level courses is preferred but not essential. |

| Job Comment: | Our students are predominantly Korean and generally have very strong mathematical skills. In the recent SAT tests our students exceeded their American peers by several years. Weak English ability can hinder student’s progress and it is important that the successful candidate is able to teach ELL pupils and have some formal training in this area. The position will include teaching up to 24, 45-minutes. Students have 5 maths classes a week, one on each day. Teachers are also expected to attend the weekly assembly and run 1 club activity. The other 18 lessons should be used for lesson planning, marking and other school activities. |
