Experience in owning or running a business is strongly preferred. Experience in the specific Business as Mission (BAM) business intended is strongly preferred. Understanding of BAM best practices through reading, study, and research. Ability to gain a functional level of the national language. Skill Requirements Spiritually and emotionally mature. Able to feed oneself spiritually through personal Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. Skilled and able to build relationships of trust with multiple potential partners. Ability to coach and mentor potential/rising entrepreneurs. A strong and effective communicator through speaking and writing. A clear biblical worldview that includes and embraces God’s design for business. Awareness of cross-cultural situations and an ability to relate graciously to people of many cultures in a manner that engenders respect and trust. A clear call to the position demonstrated by spiritual gifts, training, experience, and passion. A servant heart that is teachable, flexible, and willing to learn.
