| Assignment Description: | Job Purpose ● To carry out the duties of English Teacher under the direction of the Senior School Principal. ● To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education and Christian witness. Main Duties and Responsibilities Typically, as an English Teacher you will be required to: ● Have experience of teaching across all ages including middle school and high school and exam classes. Uses assessments and data to guide instructional decisions and adjust student goals. 4. Collaborates with teachers, parents, and specialists to support inclusive classroom practices. 5. Provides consultation to teachers on differentiation, accommodations, and effective strategies for diverse learners. Job Requirements 1. Degree, license, or endorsement in Education (Special Education preferred); Master's degree beneficial. 2. Successful teaching experience, preferably in Special Education or a Learning Support setting. 3. Strong understanding of diverse learning needs, assessment practices, and differentiated instruction. 4. Experience collaborating with teachers and supporting inclusive classroom practices; co-teaching experience preferred. 5. Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills within a multicultural environment. 6. Ability to use data to inform instructional planning and decisions within an MTSS framework. |
