| Assignment Description: | Chaplain/Bible Teacher - SCS has an exciting opportunity to impact lives through comprehensive student discipleship programming and spiritual care for a diverse international school community. The Chaplain plays a key leadership role in helping the school carry out its mission to form personas íntegras who reflect Jesus in character, wisdom, and influence. Responsibilities include pointing students and staff to Jesus through Bible teaching, pastoral counseling, and providing leadership for spiritual life programs. Candidates must demonstrate a deep love for Jesus and a strong commitment to excellence in Christian education. In addition, candidates should have previous experience ministering in cross-cultural settings. A desire to work as part of a team is critical. Theological studies at the undergraduate or graduate level and fluency in English and Spanish are required. Teaching/chaplain experience and youth ministry experience are preferred. |
