Assignment Description: Discovery Academy is a Christ-centered, English-immersion school in Quito, Ecuador. Our mission is to provide an excellent education that nurtures the whole child—mind, heart, and character—to impact the world for Christ. The Performing Arts Teacher develops students’ creativity and confidence through drama, choir, and performance. This position supports both elementary and middle school, collaborating with the Music Teacher to plan the annual Christmas Program, student productions, and chapel performances. The teacher guides students in stage presence, vocal skills, expression, and teamwork—helping them understand how the arts can glorify God through storytelling and praise.
