Seasons

Some seasons feel fresh and new—alive with hope, discovery, and possibility. Others feel harsh and cold, marked by loss, uncertainty, or difficult stretching.

Scripture tells us that life comes to us in seasons. Some seasons feel fresh and new—alive with hope, discovery, and possibility. Others feel harsh and cold, marked by loss, uncertainty, or difficult stretching. And yet through every shift in the weather of our lives, one truth remains steady: He will never leave us or forsake us.

Seasons invite change. Some bring growth we can see and celebrate. Others bring trepidation—those quiet, trembling moments where we step forward without knowing what is ahead. Still others usher in deep joy, the kind that lifts our hearts and reminds us of God’s goodness in vibrant color. Whatever the season, we must remember: it is only a season. It will not last forever. It will not define the whole story. It is simply one chapter in the greater narrative of God’s faithfulness.

Sometimes we wish a beautiful season would last forever. Sometimes we wish a painful season would disappear overnight. But without change, we would risk missing the blessings, the growth, the strengthening, and the new opportunities God is preparing for us on the horizon. Seasons shift, but His purposes remain steady.

So how do we acknowledge these changes with grace?

With confidence and steadfastness.

Jesus warned that in this world we would face tribulation. But He also invited us to fix our gaze on the prize—to run with endurance, to press forward with hope, and to anticipate the day when we will hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Whatever season you are walking through today, may this be your encouragement:

  • If you are in a season of exciting new beginnings—God bless you.

May courage and joy fill your steps.

  • If you are in a season of loss or trial—God bless you.

May His nearness become your peace.

  • If you are in a season of waiting, of quiet, of wondering—God bless you.

May His stillness strengthen your trust.

May we find solace together in the exact season we are in—trusting that God is cultivating something eternal, something beautiful, something fruitful through it all. And may each season, whether bright or burdensome, draw us nearer to His heart and shape us more fully into His image.
