Job CommentOverview of BLOC: We are an inner city ministry that lives and works in the neighborhoods we serve. Our mission exists to build relationships with our neighbors and share hope in brokenness. We target neighborhoods that are underserved. We have a staff size of about 45 where we have after school programs, sports performance center, houses for women in sex trafficking, men and women transitional homes, two coffee shops, screen printing, and other forms of ministry to love our neighbors. Position Summary: An AfterSchool Associate will be expected to uphold the mission of AfterSchool. While assisting at the assigned AfterSchool program. An Associate will also help in other areas of AfterSchool where help is needed. Primary responsibilities: Attend assigned AfterSchool programs Assist in creating safe environments that are conducive to sharing the gospel with kids and their families. Mentor/disciple youth Managing resources at the program (art supplies, snacks, etc.) Attend mandatory meetings Mentor/coach youth Work 35+ hours a week with flexibility if full time. 20 hours if part-time Agreement and comply with BLOC employee handbook Raise Part time/Full time salary
