Today, over 1600 people groups, 114 million people, still don’t have the Bible translated into their languages! Wycliffe USA believes the Word of God transforms lives when people hear it in their own language, and we urgently need you to join the team! As a Network Administrator, you will help equip those in the Bible translation movement with the technology tools they need to get God’s Word to the many languages waiting in Cameroon. Without your help, many translation and literacy projects could slow to a halt due to inadequate network support or technical difficulties. Job Location: Yaounde, Cameroon Want to work in a different location? Wycliffe USA has many open positions located in Africa, Asia, Europe, Americas, and the Pacific! Even though this job is located overseas, you must be legally authorized to work in the United States as per U.S. employment laws. Important Note In becoming a member of a faith-based organization, you will receive extensive training and resources in partnership development so that gifts given to the preference of your ministry account are provided for your salary, benefits, and ministry related expenses. What Might You Do? Your days are filled with a variety of regular tasks. One day you’ll perform system and server maintenance and data recovery. Later you might evaluate and update existing or install new software and hardware to better meet current needs. Another day you’ll address a problem with Internet connectivity and ensure network security. |

| Preferred Experience | This job might be for you if… You’ve persevered and achieved a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification, Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert certification, CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications, or other applicable credentials. You love to serve people. You can translate computer-ese into solutions for someone’s grandma. You’re the go-to person for Windows, network administration, Internet access servers, Proxy servers, and network security. You enjoy designing and maintaining the network physical plant (routers, switches, and hubs) and working with fiber optic distribution systems. You can analyze and troubleshoot problems, such as hardware components. You view reducing IT costs and delivering better value an important part of the job. You love to teach others about networking. It’s a bonus if… You are a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). You have a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification.
